SPCK339PASEPU POWER STEERING PUMP USED LAND ROVER SERIES 2A-3 STEERING CONVERSION
SPCK339PASEPU POWER STEERING PUMP USED LAND ROVER SERIES 2A-3 STEERING CONVERSION, this ZF pump is designed to work with Range Rover P38 steering box and our electric pump kit RHD SPCK339EPKR or LHD SPCK339EPKL
THIS IS A FULLY TESTED USED ZF POWER STEERING PUMP
We don’t stock these parts they are sourced into stock when you place your order. It could take upto 7-10 working days to source a fully working used pump.
Our power steering conversion is quite unique, it is the only power steering conversion available that will give you 3 turns from lock to lock, not the usual 4 turns that manual and other power steering conversions steering have, we found that with 4 turns the steering was over powered and to light at speed, so with our unique steering system we have made the steering with more feel and slightly heavier. Land Rover models with power steering have 3 turns lock to lock.
We use the P38 Range Rover ZF power steering box, far more reliable than the Adwest box, this is fitted using our special mounting plates to be welded to the chassis, the steering box is then bolted on the outside of the chassis and therefore does not require the front chassis cross member or the front panel to be altered in any way. This allows Turbo intercooled Diesel engines being fitted so there is room for the intercooler, radiator and oil coolers etc.
(Note Customers with a Galvanised chassis fitted we recommend to MIG weld the plate to the chassis. Grind off the galvanised area to be welded, about 12mm clear of the weld area. The fumes from welding on galvanised steel are quite toxic. On the vertical edges, vertical down would be the best method, ensuring good penetration to the chassis. To weld the hole in the middle again, vertical down. The top, bottom welds are straight forward. Then weld in the gussets. An experienced welder would probably do it this way any way. Clean up the welds after removing any deposits with a wire brush, then paint with Galvofroid paint or some other zing rich paint. Treat the inside of the chassis with Waxoyl or some other cavity treatment)
The battery tray on Right Hand drive models will need moving under the seat or a suitable location as the Range Rover P38 steering box will not fit with the Series battery box in it’s standard location.
We use the Land Rover 90/110 steering column assembly and steering wheel for this conversion. We can now supply ready made covers for the new steering box and steering column. See related items below.
This Is Not A Full Power Steering Kit As The Customer Will Need To Supply Their Own Major Components See below.
This Electric pump is designed for vehicles fitted with the standard 2¼ petrol or Diesel engines and any other engines not fitted with the mechanical pump

ADDITIONAL PARTS REQUIRED FOR THIS CONVERSION
- Range Rover P38 steering box
- P38 universal joint coupling shaft
- Brown plastic PAS Fluid reservoir and mounting bracket (Preferably P38 one)
- Steering rod kit SPCK339PASK3
- Steering column assembly with brackets, complete with Steering Wheel from a Land Rover 90/110, (note there are 2 different splines on the steering columns so you need the steering wheel to match)
This conversion is suitable for Left Hand Drive models.
If the conversion is done neatly, the installation will look original and not like a conversion.
We are working in conjunction with Richards Chassis, so you can order a chassis from them with P38 power steering box mounting plate welded and gussets to the chassis before it is galvanised.

Steve Parkers Limited have been designing and fitting land rover engine conversions for over 40 years. We have also been manufacturing in house, conversion exhausts for over 25 years. We try to supply a comprehensive set of conversion kits, so that when the job is finished it looks like a factory installation. They are supplied as separate kits to allow them to be bought individually or they can be added to the basket and all bought at once depending on your requirements. Many of our conversion parts are manufactured by a company with en iso 9002 approved and covered by liability insurance.
This conversion is designed for the original Land Rover chassis. If a replacement chassis has been fitted there may be some differences in crossmembers and brackets etc., causing fitting issues with some parts which is beyond our control.
