200Tdi Discovery 300Tdi Manifold Conversion Exhaust LR Series LWB, SKU EXHS3LWBD200300
Fits in Land Rover Series 2, Series 2A and Series 3 Long Wheel Base, Right hand Drive & Left Hand Drive
Larger bore exhaust system. Manufactured in 2½” aluminised mild steel in our engineering shop here in the UK and is designed for a turbo engine.
Kit comprises of specially made
Front pipe,
Connector pipe,
Intermedate pipe
Aftermarket Rear silencer painted with heat resistant paint like our other pipework.
This kit comes complete with rubber hangers, clamps brackets plus nuts, bolts and washers.
The exhaust system is designed to hang on the standard chassis mountings where possible.
Note, due to all the different exhaust systems on Long Wheel Base models, this exhaust system has been made universal and may follow a different route to the vehicles original exhaust
No mods to chassis are required when this 300 Manifold is fitted
The engine mountings will require packing up about 10mm to allow the 200Tdi turbo to clear the chassis when fitting the 200Tdi Engine or could fit a 300Tdi manifold to the 200Tdi engine then this modification is not required we also can supply an exhaust system for the 300Tdi manifold set up, see part number EXHS3LWBD200300.
For Left Hand Drive Models, the steering box will require packing the steering box plate off the chassis by about 25 mm and fit longer bolts and redrill the bulkhead. Get the steering box over to the pedals as far as they will go. This should be enough clearance to clear the drop arm. A 300 turbo manifold set up should be used as both the Defender and Discovery turbos will foul. We would recommend using the 300TDI exhaust system as above.
When using this for the 200Tdi conversion we also recommend using a 300Tdi intercooler from a Defender or Discovery with our conversion hose kit SPCK338S3C for Series 3 models and FOR Series 2 and 2A with Headlamps in the front panel use our modified intercooler SPCK338S3CMODIC with hose kit SPCK338S2C
This will require the 300Tdi turbo to be clocked and we can supply a bracket kit and instructions for this.
Also source the Discovery 300Tdi air filter box and induction pipe along with our fitting kit SPCK338S3A

They are supplied as separate kits to allow them to be bought individually or they can be added to the basket and all bought at once depending on your requirements. With mild steel flanges. Usually, they are designed for the engine requirements but also, we try to use the standard chassis brackets and rubber mountings. However, on some model’s other brackets may be required due to the many models of Land Rovers. We specialise in low volume bespoke exhausts.
This full conversion exhaust kit is designed to follow the same route as the standard exhaust system and to hang on the same chassis brackets as the standard exhaust and is designed for vehicles that have are fitted with standard leaf springs and the standard Series gearbox. The exhaust is designed for the original Land Rover chassis. If a replacement chassis has been fitted there may be some differences in hangar brackets etc., causing fitting issues with the exhaust which is beyond our control.
