Exhaust Full System for Left Hand Drive Land Rover Series 2, Series 2A and Series 3 Short Wheelbase 88″ with Discovery 200Tdi Engine Conversion fitted

This full conversion exhaust kit comprises of
Specially Made specially made front pipe
Specially Made connector pipe
Specially Made intermediate pipe
Specially Made left-hand drive rear silencer (2″ tailpipe)
All in a larger bore than the standard exhaust, a rear silencer with a larger bore inlet and tailpipe, with the internals of the silencer suitable for a turbo engine. This kit comes with stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers to fasten the pipework together, hangar rubbers, mild steel larger than standard intermediate pipe clamps and tailpipe bracket. Fitting instructions are also included.
It is designed to hang on the standard chassis mountings and exit behind the driver’s side wheel (LH Side).
For these Left-Hand Drive Models, the steering box will require packing the steering box plate off the chassis by about 25 mm and fit longer bolts and redrill the bulkhead. Get the steering box over to the pedals as far as they will go. This should be enough clearance to clear the drop arm.
It would be more suitable to use a 300Tdi turbo manifold set up as both the Defender and Discovery turbos will foul. We would recommend using the 300TDI exhaust system see link full exhaust 200tdi with 300tdi manifold LHD
Another alternative for the Left Hand drive models is to fit power steering using our kit and the Range Rover P38 power steering box as these fit to the outside of the chassis leaving more room in the engine bay for the engine conversion. See our PAS conversion page Land Rover Series PAS Conversion

They are supplied as separate kits to allow them to be bought individually or they can be added to the basket and all bought at once depending on your requirements. STEVE PARKERS LIMITED have been designing and manufacturing conversion exhausts for over 25 years. Many of our exhausts are made in aluminised mild steel, 409 or 304 grade stainless steel. With mild steel flanges. Usually, they are designed for the engine requirements but also, we try to use the standard chassis brackets and rubber mountings. However, on some model’s other brackets may be required due to the many models of Land Rovers. We specialise in low volume bespoke exhausts.
This full conversion exhaust kit is designed to follow the same route as the standard exhaust system and to hang on the same chassis brackets as the standard exhaust and is designed for vehicles that have are fitted with standard leaf springs and the standard Series gearbox. We can supply a modified intermediate pipe if the LT77 is fitted. Please contact us for more information. The exhaust is designed for the original Land Rover chassis. If a replacement chassis has been fitted there may be some differences in hangar brackets etc., causing fitting issues with the exhaust which is beyond our control.
