Conversion Basic Kit Discovery 200Tdi Into Land Rover Series, SKU SPCK238KITS3
For the 200Tdi discovery engine conversion using the 200 Tdi Discovery Intercooler radiator assembly in a Land Rover Series 2, Series2A and Series 3
This kit consists of
- SPCK224BLT Defender S3 200TDI Conversion Flywheel Housing Bolt Kit, These bolts are for the Discovery 200Tdi in Land Rover 90/ 110, also Series Land Rovers,
These Countersunk bolts are to replace the standard ones which are removed when taking the engine out of the Discovery. The standard ones won’t fit due to the bolt head protruding the Flywheel housing and are also too long.
These bolts need to be fitted before the engine is fitted into the vehicle and the flywheel housing will need countersinking, we can supply the tools for this see this link SPCK224BLTD
Failure to fit these bolts will cause oil leaks.The flywheel housing gasket & rear crank seal doesn’t form a good seal and therefore leaks from these due to the engine and flywheel housing flexing.
The flywheel housing is only secured at the top and not all the way round. Fitting these bolts will also secure the ladder frame.
Note, These bolts are not for securing the gearbox to the engine
Fits RHD & LHD Models
- 200TDI Conversion Water Pipe Kit Series 2 to Series 3 consists of our specially made Top Radiator hose, specially made Bottom Radiator Hose with stainless steel hose clips. Fitting instructions are also supplied as part of the kit
This is only suitable when the Discovery 200Tdi intercooler and radiator are fitted as per our instructions.
- SPCK238CS3 Conversion Intercooler Kit Discovery 200Tdi Land Rover Series, Fits LAND ROVER Series 2 and Series 3, 4 Cylinder models. This kit consists of Rubber hoses and Metal pipework complete with clips and instructions, when fitting the Discovery 200Tdi Intercooler Radiator, The intercooler needs modifying as per our instructions that come with the kit. Note These modifications can be carried out by your own competent alloy welder and fitted as per our instructions.
