SPCK224KITSS 200Tdi Discovery Engine Conversion Basic Kit for 90 110. This conversion kit if for fitting the Discovery 200Tdi into a LAND ROVER 90 /110.
This basic kit consists of SPEX102 Conversion front exhaust pipe, SPCK224BLT Flywheel Housing Bolt kit, SPCK224C Intercooler Kit, SPCK224W Water pipe kit.
These specially made intercooler pipes fits directly onto the Discovery 200 Tdi intercooler, they are designed in such a way to allow the air to flow through the system easier without restrictions,
We recommend fitting the 200 tdi Discovery intercooler or a Defender 200 Tdi intercooler as they are the original ones designed for the engines.
Intercooler Kit comprises of specially made metal beaded pipework in 409 stainless steel and rubber hoses to connect to the Discovery or Defender 200 Tdi radiator Also includes stainless steel hose clips.
Conversion Water pipe kit for 200 Tdi Discovery in 90 and 110 consists of top hose, heater hoses, stainless steel hose clips, temp senders (both coarse thread and fine thread )specially modified bottom hose. This bottom hose has been updated with an extra overlay seal where the pigot hose meets the main hose for an extra seal. The actual spigot hose has also been lengthened as some models have extra pulleys fitted.
Flywheel Housing Bolt kit, are Countersunk bolts which are to replace the standard ones which are removed when taking the engine out of the Discovery. The standard ones won’t fit due to the bolt head protruding the Flywheel housing and are also too long.
These bolts need to be fitted before the engine is fitted into the vehicle and the flywheel housing will need countersinking, we can supply the tools for this see this link SPCK224BLTD
Failure to fit these bolts will cause oil leaks.The flywheel housing gasket & rear crank seal doesn’t form a good seal and therefore leaks from these due to the engine and flywheel housing flexing.
The flywheel housing is only secured at the top and not all the way round. Fitting these bolts will also secure the ladder frame.
Note, These bolts are not for securing the gearbox to the engine
Front Conversion Exhaust pipe is specially made in 304 grade Stainless Steel with mild steel flange and fits directly onto the Discovery 200 tdi turbo outlet designed in such a way to allow exhaust gases to flow through the system easier without restrictions
We then recommend fitting a standard turbo diesel exhaust or a Defender 200 tdi exhaust system as they are made differently internally than a normally aspirated or petrol system, this allows the exhaust gases to flow properly, so the engine doesn’t overheat and doesn’t cause back pressure. Our pipe is sleeved to suit either system. The front pipe/ intermediate pipe is cut into either of these systems to sleeve up to our conversion front pipe.
No modifications are required to the vehicle using this front pipe, the clutch pipe does require moving over away from the front pipe
The conversion front pipe comes with a gasket, manifold nuts and clamps.

We try to supply a comprehensive set of conversion kits, so that when the job is finished it looks like a factory installation. They are supplied as separate kits to allow them to be bought individually or they can be added to the basket and all bought at once depending on your requirements. Many of our conversion parts are manufactured by a company with en iso 9002 approved and covered by liability insurance.
This conversion is designed for the original Land Rover chassis. If a replacement chassis has been fitted there may be some differences in crossmembers and brackets etc., causing fitting issues with some parts which is beyond our control
