EXHS3SWBDVY200L LHD Exhaust System Discovery 200Tdi Series SWB. Exhaust Full System for Left Hand Drive Land Rover Series 2 – Series 3 Short Wheel Base 88″ with Discovery 200 Tdi Engine Conversion fitted
Larger bore full exhaust system from the turbo outlet to the tailpipe. Manufactured in Aluminised mild steel.
Exhaust system comprises of specially designed front pipe, intermediate pipe and rear silencer (with the internals designed for a turbo engine).
Kit comes complete with specially made tailpipe bracket and clamps and nuts, bolts and washers. It is designed to hang on the standard chassis mountings and exit behind the drivers side wheel (LH Side).
For these Left Hand Drive Models the steering box will require packing the steering box plate off the chassis by about 25 mm and fit longer bolts and redrill the bulkhead. Get the steering box over to the pedals as far as they will go. This should be enough clearance to clear the drop arm. A 300 turbo manifold set up should be used as both the Defender and Discovery turbos will foul. . We would recommend using the 300TDI exhaust system as above.
Another alternative for the Left Hand drive models is to fit power steering using our kit and the Range Rover P38 power steering box as this fits to the outside of the chassis leaving more room in the engine bay for the engine conversion. See our PAS conversion page Land Rover Series PAS Conversion
Exhaust Mounting Rubber kit included
STEVE PARKERS LTD have been designing and manufacturing conversion exhausts for over 20 years. Many of our exhausts are made in aluminised mild steel or 304 grade stainless steel. Usually they are designed for the engine requirements but also we try to use the standard chassis brackets and rubber mountings. However on some models other brackets may be required due to the many models of Land Rovers.
