This kit is for hard top and truck cab models and it works with the front doors. We fitted this kit to a
LAND ROVER Series 3 109 Right Hand Drive. The kit is suitable for Left Hand Drive models, just reverse everything to suit.
The kit we have put together is a loose kit in as far as we are do not pre-fit all the connectors to the wiring as it is difficult to get some of the wiring in to place and would also be very difficult to install the wiring with the connectors already on.
The Kit Consists of
Interior Light & Mounting Plate, Switches for both front Doors, Striker Brackets, Wiring looms & connectors, Heat Shrink Sleeving, Black Sleeving, Fish Wire, Self Tapping Screws, Nuts & Washers, Cable Clips, Nylon P Clips and Instructions on what to fit where.
There is some drilling required so a good drill and bits are required along with crimping tool, screwdriver, long nose pliers & 7/16 spanner etc.
Lots of people with Land Rovers live on farms, country areas with little or no street lighting. You get into your dark Land Rover and then fiddle about trying to find the ignition lock, starter button, switches etc, Now with this kit you have light when you open the drivers door or passenger and there is a 3 way switch to be able to then leave it on when the door shuts to see all these things!
