CONVERSION EXHAUST DEFENDER 200TDI 2.5TD SERIES SWB LHD, SKU EXHS325TDLHD Fits LAND ROVER Series 2, Series 2A and Series 3 Short Wheelbase 88" LEFT-HAND DRIVE This conversion exhaust system is for the Land Rover Defender 90/110 200 Tdi engine or the Land Rover 90/110 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine (used in 1986-1990)   Manufactured in our engineering shop here in the UK out of 2½" 409 low grade stainless steel with mild steel flanges. It is then painted with heat resistant paint. The kit comprises of front pipe that fits to the turbo outlet, with a bracket to fasten it to the engine block and a turbo outlet clamp connector pipe, intermediate pipe rear silencer, that fits across the rear of the vehicle, The rear silencer exits behind the Left-hand rear wheel as per the standard 2¼ engines. Rubber hangar kit is also included (SPCK50HKL) All the pipe work is larger bore than standard. The rear silencer has been specially designed internally for a turbo engine. A fitting kit is also supplied which consists of larger tailpipe bracket, clamps, nuts, bolts and washers. This full conversion exhaust kit is designed to follow the same route as the standard exhaust system and to hang on the same chassis brackets as the standard exhaust and is designed for vehicles that have are fitted with standard leaf springs and the standard Series gearbox. We try to supply a comprehensive set of conversion kits, so that when the job is finished it looks like a factory installation. They are supplied as separate kits to allow them to be bought individually or they can be added to the basket and all bought at once depending on your requirements. Many of our conversion parts are manufactured by a company with en iso 9002 approved and covered by liability insurance. This conversion is designed for the original Land Rover chassis. If a replacement chassis has been fitted there may be some differences in crossmembers and brackets etc., causing fitting issues with some parts which is beyond our control. STEVE PARKERS LIMITED have been designing and manufacturing conversion exhausts for over 25 years. Many of our exhausts are made in aluminised mild steel, 409 or 304 grade stainless steel. With mild steel flanges. Usually, they are designed for the engine requirements but also, we try to use the standard chassis brackets and rubber mountings. However, on some model’s other brackets may be required due to the many models of Land Rovers. We specialise in low volume bespoke exhausts.
